Esmé Glenn is a native of Abilene, Texas, and graduated from the University of Texas in Austin with a double major; art and education.

After graduation, she taught school in Austin as art teacher for the 3rd through 6th grades, and she also taught a few years in Abilene public schools.

She is a practicing artist and maintains a studio near her home. She displays her work at Studio 7, Center for Contemporary Arts, Abilene, Texas.

She was an occasional TV courtroom artist over a period of 15 years for TV stations in Houston, Dallas, Lubbock (change of venue cases) and Abilene. She has been an art instructor in oil, pastel, watercolor, and acrylic for various art workshops in Texas and New Mexico.  Currently she is an adjunct instructor of portrait painting and still-life at McMurry University in Abilene.

For over 20 years she has been a member of a figure drawing group that meets once a week in Abilene; for most of those years she has been the coordinator for the group.

Her current media:  acrylic and watercolor
